Privacy Policy
This page explains what 100 Sunrise Drive does with the personal information you send through this website. It is short because the website does little with your information today.
Browsing the website
You do not need an account to use the website. The website does not set advertising or analytics cookies of its own.
The Contact and Key Biscayne pages show an embedded Google map. The map is content from a third party: when it loads, that third party may process information about your visit and may use its own cookies, under its own practices.
When you send a Request to Book
We receive the information you type into the form:
- your first name and last name;
- your email address and phone number;
- your country, if you choose to give it;
- the apartment, the dates and the number of guests you ask for, and the price that was shown to you.
Sending a request does not confirm a reservation and does not involve a payment on this website.
How we use it
- to review your request and answer it, using the email address or phone number you gave us;
- to send you emails about your request and, if it is accepted, your reservation (for example, that it was accepted, that it could not be accepted, or that it was cancelled), using the email address you gave us;
- to keep your details together if you send more than one request with the same email address;
- to protect the website from automated misuse.
Protection against misuse
When a request is sent, we turn your IP address and your email address into one-way codes (hashes), using a secret key that is kept only on our server. We store these codes and use them only to count how many requests were sent recently, so that we can limit automated misuse. We do not store your IP address itself in our application database, and the codes cannot be turned back into an address.
These counters are not removed on a schedule: counters older than about two days are removed the next time a request is processed, so they can stay longer while no new request arrives.
Who can see it
Your request is visible to the people who manage the apartments. Your information is stored with the hosting and database services that run this website, which handle it on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
To send the emails described above we use an email delivery service, Resend. It receives your email address and the content of the message so that it can deliver it to you.
How long we keep it
We keep a request and the contact details sent with it while we handle it, and afterwards as a record: for 5 years after the stay if the request became a stay, and for 2 years after the request was closed if it did not (for example, a request that was declined, cancelled or never confirmed).
After that, your personal details are anonymized in our own database: your name, email address, phone numbers and any message are removed for good. We keep only what does not identify you, such as the dates, the apartment, the number of guests, your country and the price, so that our records stay complete.
This applies to our own database. Copies held by the services that host this website or send our emails, such as their logs and backups, follow those services' own retention.
Your choices
You can contact us to ask what we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, or to ask us to remove it sooner. We will review each request; the details of a confirmed stay that has not ended yet can only be removed once that stay is cancelled or over.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website changes. The current version is always on this page. Last updated: Oct 14, 2026.
